The protection of your personal data and the data of your models is our highest priority. The app FixRelease is designed according to the principle of "Privacy by Design" and "Privacy by Default."

2. Data Collection and Usage

FixRelease processes the following data to create model release agreements:

• Photographer Info: Name, address, logo, email.
• Model Info: Name, address, date of birth, email, and signature.
• Agreement Info: Project details, date, location, and the final PDF.

Local Storage: All data is stored exclusively on your device. We do not transmit this data to our own servers.

3. Third-Party Services & APIs

• Platform Frameworks: On iOS, we use PDFKit for document generation and PencilKit for capturing signatures. On Android, equivalent platform APIs are used. These process data locally on your device.
• Cloud Storage (Optional): You can choose to archive PDF documents to iCloud Drive (Apple Inc., iOS only), Google Drive (Google LLC), or Dropbox (Dropbox, Inc.). This feature is entirely optional and must be explicitly enabled by you in the app's settings.
• Authentication: When connecting to Google Drive or Dropbox, the app uses the industry-standard OAuth 2.0 protocol. You sign in directly with the respective provider – we never see or store your Google or Dropbox password. The app only requests minimal permissions:
  • Google Drive: drive.file scope – the app can only access files it has created itself, not your other Drive files.
  • Dropbox: App folder access – the app can only read and write within its own /Apps/fixRelease folder.
• Data Transferred: Only the generated PDF documents are uploaded to your chosen cloud storage. No personal data, database contents, or usage statistics are transmitted.
• Token Storage: OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored securely on your device using the platform's secure storage. They are deleted when you disconnect the cloud service in the app.
• No Tracking: We do not use any analytics (like Firebase or Google Analytics) or advertising SDKs.

4. In-App Purchases

FixRelease offers optional In-App Purchases ("FixRelease Pro") processed through the respective platform's store: Apple's App Store (StoreKit) on iOS or Google Play Billing on Android. We do not collect, store, or process any payment information ourselves. All payment data is handled by Apple Inc. (Privacy Policy) or Google LLC (Privacy Policy), respectively.

• Purchase Validation: Transaction verification is performed locally on your device using the platform's native purchase framework. No receipt data is sent to our servers.
• Export Counter: The App tracks the number of PDF exports locally on your device to manage free-tier limits. This counter is not transmitted to any server.

5. US Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information. All data remains under your control on your device or chosen cloud storage.

2. Art und Zweck der Datenverarbeitung

FixRelease ist ein lokales Werkzeug zur Erstellung von Model-Releases. Es werden Namen, Adressen, Geburtsdaten und Unterschriften verarbeitet, um Verträge als PDF zu generieren.

3. Speicherorte und Dienste

Die App nutzt keine eigenen Server-Backends. Die Datenhoheit liegt allein beim Nutzer.

• Lokale Speicherung: Alle Daten verbleiben auf dem Endgerät.
• Cloud-Speicher (Optional): Sie können PDF-Dokumente optional in iCloud Drive (Apple Inc., nur iOS), Google Drive (Google LLC) oder Dropbox (Dropbox, Inc.) archivieren. Diese Funktion muss vom Nutzer explizit in den Einstellungen aktiviert werden.
• Authentifizierung: Die Anmeldung bei Google Drive oder Dropbox erfolgt über den Industriestandard OAuth 2.0. Sie melden sich direkt beim jeweiligen Anbieter an – wir sehen oder speichern Ihr Google- oder Dropbox-Passwort zu keinem Zeitpunkt. Die App fordert nur minimale Berechtigungen an:
  • Google Drive: drive.file – die App kann ausschliesslich auf Dateien zugreifen, die sie selbst erstellt hat, nicht auf Ihre übrigen Drive-Inhalte.
  • Dropbox: App-Ordner-Zugriff – die App kann nur innerhalb ihres eigenen /Apps/fixRelease-Ordners lesen und schreiben.
• Übertragene Daten: Es werden ausschliesslich die generierten PDF-Dokumente in den gewählten Cloud-Speicher hochgeladen. Keine persönlichen Daten, Datenbankinhalte oder Nutzungsstatistiken werden übertragen.
• Token-Speicherung: OAuth-Zugangs- und Refresh-Tokens werden sicher auf Ihrem Gerät gespeichert. Sie werden gelöscht, wenn Sie den Cloud-Dienst in der App trennen.
• System-Frameworks: Die Verarbeitung von Unterschriften und PDFs erfolgt über native Plattform-Schnittstellen (PencilKit/PDFKit auf iOS, entsprechende Android-APIs).

4. In-App-Käufe

FixRelease bietet optionale In-App-Käufe ("FixRelease Pro"), die über den jeweiligen Plattform-Store abgewickelt werden: Apples App Store (StoreKit) auf iOS oder Google Play Billing auf Android. Wir erfassen, speichern oder verarbeiten keinerlei Zahlungsinformationen. Alle Zahlungsdaten werden von Apple Inc. (Datenschutzrichtlinie) bzw. Google LLC (Datenschutzrichtlinie) verarbeitet.

• Kaufvalidierung: Die Transaktionsverifizierung erfolgt lokal auf Ihrem Gerät über das native Kauf-Framework der jeweiligen Plattform. Es werden keine Belege an unsere Server gesendet.
• Export-Zähler: Die App zählt die Anzahl der PDF-Exporte lokal auf Ihrem Gerät, um die Grenzen der kostenlosen Version zu verwalten. Dieser Zähler wird an keinen Server übertragen.

5. Ihre Rechte (nDSG / DSGVO)

Sie haben das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung und Löschung Ihrer Daten. Da FixRelease keine Daten auf eigenen Servern speichert, können Sie diese Rechte direkt durch das Löschen von Einträgen in der App ausüben.
